Live Preview is another part of the new interface that can save time too. Also, when you select text, a mini toolbar will appear, floating above the text. Within the toolbar are some frequently used commands to format text.

Its transparent look becomes opaque when you move your mouse cursor over it, and vice versa. The mini toolbar is supposed to provide a quick access to format text easier and faster, but if you find it distracting instead, you can hide it.

Sometimes radical changes are needed to achieve something better. In Microsoft Office , the ambitious redesign of the interface is intended for better productivity. However, regardless of the intention, the redesign is a product of subjective opinions that may or may not well received by every user, especially the hard core ones. For users who like how the new design looks like, it is a good news to them.
